CMBTC Announces 2024 Canada-China Barley Seminar in Qingdao

May 23, 2024 (Winnipeg, MB) – The Canadian Malting Barley Technical Centre (CMBTC) is pleased to announce the 2024 Canada-China Barley Seminar, convening at the Shangri-la in Qingdao, China, from June 19 to 20, 2024. This seminar aims to foster direct engagement between the Canadian barley value chain and Chinese maltsters and brewers.

 

此次研讨会在中国第二大啤酒公司、CMBTC 成员青岛啤酒的大力支持下，将展示出加拿大大麦价值链的专业知识和创新。与会者将就 2024 年大麦供应前景、新啤酒大麦品种的品质、生产实践和可持续性进行全面讨论，突显加拿大作为全球大麦生产领导者的地位。

With strong support from Tsingtao Brewery, China’s second-largest brewery and a CMBTC member, the seminar will showcase the expertise and innovation of Canada’s barley value chain. Attendees can expect comprehensive discussions on the 2024 barley supply outlook, quality of new malting varieties, production practices and sustainability, highlighting Canada's position as a global leader in barley production.
